Diagnose my internet
Measures latency / jitter / loss / DNS / Wi-Fi / speed and isolates the culprit — ISP vs router vs Wi-Fi vs DNS. Runs locally.
Identify my router
Auto-detects the gateway via the agnostic adapter tiers.
Scan my network
Find every device on the LAN (IP / MAC / vendor / open ports).
Security-posture audit
Read-only Wi-Fi / router posture (encryption, firmware, admin, WPS).
🤖 Diagnose & Auto-Fix a device
Paste a device's running-config. NetRelay audits it against best practice — catching misconfiguration (accidental or deliberate) and inefficiencies on older gear it could modernize — scores it, and generates the exact fix. Preview only; nothing is written to a device.
❓ New to this? What a running-config is & how to get one
A running-config is the live configuration a network device (switch, router, firewall, access point) is using right now — its hostname, ports, VLANs, IP addresses, routing, and security settings. It's the full “recipe” of how the device is set up. NetRelay reads that text and tells you what's wrong and exactly how to fix it. (The startup-config is the saved copy loaded when the device reboots.)
How to get it: connect to the device with SSH
(ssh admin@device-ip in Windows Terminal, or PuTTY) or a console cable
(USB-to-serial + PuTTY at 9600 baud), then run the command for your vendor and copy all the output:
- Cisco IOS / IOS-XE: type
enable, thenterminal length 0, thenshow running-config - Cisco NX-OS & Arista EOS:
show running-config - Juniper Junos:
show configuration | display set - Home / consumer gear: open the device's web admin page → Backup / Export settings
⚠ A running-config can contain passwords/secrets (usually hashed) and network details. On this hosted site the text is sent to the server for analysis — for sensitive production configs, redact secrets first, or run the local NetRelay app so nothing leaves your machine.
Discover devices
Scan the network and classify every device (router / switch / AP / phone / printer).
Generate config
Plain-English intents → multi-vendor config + diff. One intent per line.
Subnet calculator
CIDR → mask, hosts, range, broadcast, class.
VLSM planner
Base block + segments (name:hosts) → right-sized subnet plan.
CCNA tutor
Subnetting drills with worked reasoning + explain any config line.
